West Fork, Hood River

A few weeks ago, my sister Stephanie and I took Jonah on a little hike.  We had originally intended to hike Lost Lake, but the road was still snow-covered when we got there, so we changed plans and settled for an easy out-and-back to Punchbowl Falls on the West Fork of the Hood River.

Jonah had fun exploring the textures of sand and river stones along the bank.

Jonah enjoys sharing things now.  He has developed the most endearing tendency to hand me all the small things around the house that could pose a choking hazard.  It is super helpful.

Thank you!

Here's a little behind the scenes shot.

Jonah had a great time and the weather was so pleasant.

Aunt Steph is so fun!

Jonah has also recently started initiating hugs.  How adorable is that?!

Time to pack up and head home....we'll try for Lost Lake again soon.  Thanks for such a great day!
